Job Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
• Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Additional active certifications must be in hand at time of submission
• One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required
• Reference must be from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Must be eligible to complete ECG rhythm recognition testing and safeMedicate during orientation
• Must have no open background issues or license hits
• Must meet all travel nurse compliance and onboarding requirements prior to start

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients on a night shift schedule
• Monitor telemetry readings and promptly respond to changes in patient condition
• Assess patients, administer medications, and carry out physician orders accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes
• Document care thoroughly and maintain compliance with facility policies and clinical standards
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care hospital environment
