Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse in Omaha, NE. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing critical care to patients in need. As a travel RN, you will be essential in meeting the staffing needs of the facility, with the possibility of floating to various units based on your experience.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in Med Surg and Telemetry units.
• Prepare to float frequently to meet the hospital's staffing needs.
• Utilize EPIC charting for patient documentation.
• Administer drips as required on all floors.
• Collaborate with care teams, including CNAs and care techs.

**Requirements:**

• Active RN license with 2 years of prior experience in a large, urban hospital.
• BLS certification required; ACLS strongly preferred.
• First-time travelers are not accepted; however, candidates with 2 years of experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center may be considered.
• Must be willing to float to different units, including potentially the Bellevue campus.
• 100% nicotine-free facility.

**Scheduling Details:**

• Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period.
• Holiday requirement: Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
• RTO restrictions: Up to two weeks of RTO permitted, submitted with application.

**Additional Information:**

• Scrubs: Mandatory Steele gray scrubs with the facility logo.
• Parking: Monthly permits available or daily rate parking options.
• Locals accepted: No; candidates must be more than 100 miles from the facility.
• Pending licenses accepted, but must be in hand at the time of submission for booking.
