Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU position requiring a VA or compact RN license and 2 years of critical care experience.

Details

• Neuro ICU unit with 18 beds
• Patient ratio of 1:2 which can flex up or down based on acuity
• D/N rotation with 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• May be required to float to the Neuro IMC unit
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact) currently in hand, VA or compact license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• CCRN, SCRN, or CNRN certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU experience required

Additional Information

• Every other holiday coverage required
• Floor orientation consists of 2 shifts, with additional shifts if needed
• Scrub requirement: Navy blue pants with solid navy blue or solid white tops, and solid navy blue or solid white jackets
