Job Summary:
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse position is located in Detroit, Michigan. This role involves assessing, planning, and delivering direct clinical care to neonatal patients on a day shift basis. The NICU RN will oversee staff to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, supporting the facility's Chief Nursing Officer in maintaining clinical competency and resource management.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; at least 0 years of experience in neonatal intensive care; educational background in nursing or related field; ability to work in Detroit, Michigan
  • Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric and neonatal care certifications such as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM) experience preferred
  • Additional Information: The NICU Registered Nurse will be responsible for patient assessments, implementing clinical protocols, supervising delegated staff, and supporting the facilitys quality and safety standards.
