Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level IV NICU position requiring at least 2 years of NICU III/IV experience and AHA certifications.

Details

  • Level IV NICU in a children's hospital setting
  • Patient population includes post-op, g-tube, and trach/vent-dependent neonates requiring invasive and noninvasive ventilation management
  • Day and night shifts available, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00am–7:30pm or 7:00pm–7:30am)
  • Monday through Friday scheduling with 2–3 required weekend shifts per 6-week scheduling period
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active WI or compact RN license required
  • Current AHA certifications required: BLS and NRP
  • Minimum 2 years of total Level III/IV NICU experience, with at least 1 full year in a Level IV NICU
  • Experience with post-op neonatal patients, g-tubes, and trach/vent management required
  • Proficiency with various modes of invasive and noninvasive ventilation required

Additional Information

  • Level III and Level IV NICU experience may be combined to meet the 2-year total experience requirement, provided at least 1 year is specifically in a Level IV NICU
