• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week, rotating weekends and holidays
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 to 1:4
• Unit Size: 108 beds
• Documentation Systems: CPN and Meditech
• Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs
• Start Date: 8/11/2026

Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of Level III NICU experience
• BLS and NRP certifications
• Experience caring for preemies, including infants 28 weeks and above
• Experience managing central lines and providing respiratory support, including intubated patients
• Experience with surgical and cardiac patients, trach infants, and broviacs preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity neonatal nursing environment

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill and premature newborns in the NICU
• Monitor patient condition closely and respond quickly to changes in status
• Support advanced respiratory care, including vents, bubble CPAP, oscillators, and nasal cannula
• Assist with and perform NICU procedures within scope and unit practice, including central line insertions
• Care for infants with complex needs, including those recovering from surgical interventions
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver safe, family-centered care
• Contribute to a supportive, high-performing unit focused on excellent patient outcomes
