Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Level 3 NICU position requiring 2+ years of experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Level 3 NICU with 84 licensed beds divided between 2 floors
• Unit staffed with Charge RN, Code Neonatal RN, Clerk, and Milk Tech
• Night shift schedule from 18:45-07:15
• Flexible scheduling required; no block scheduling available
• May float as a functional float to all units within and outside of Women's Hospital without taking a patient assignment
• Uses Compass Cerner EMR

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license
• BLS and PALS certifications (AHA)
• NRP certification (AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
• Current license and primary source verification, including Nursys verification, within 30 days prior to start

• Navy blue scrubs required
• Provide specialized nursing care within a high-acuity neonatal intensive care environment
