Contract | 13 Weeks | Rotating Days/Nights, 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30 / 07:00–19:30) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays Required as Scheduled

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to neonates, infants, and pediatric patients with diagnoses including prematurity, AOP, ROP, BLD/CLD, cardiac defects, feeding issues, NAS, and iatrogenic NAS
• Manage and monitor patients on tracheostomies and mechanical ventilators
• Maintain and care for central lines including PICCs and central lines, as well as administer TPN/IL
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:3, up to 1:4 with lower acuity patient groups
• Float within specialty and sister units as needed; travelers are first to float
• Adhere to all compliance onboarding requirements, including completing labs within 72 hours of contract signing and submitting compliance documents no later than 5 days prior to start date

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maryland or a valid Compact RN license at time of submission
• BLS certification – American Heart Association only
• CPI certification required – The Calm Every Storm online version is the only acceptable online vendor
• Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatrics, including hands-on experience with tracheostomy and ventilator management
• Must maintain a permanent address of 50 or more miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification (AHA only) preferred
• NRP certification (NRP or AAP accepted)
• Experience with PICC lines, central lines, and TPN/IL administration
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
