Job Summary
This Addiction Registered Nurse position is a vital role within Samaritan Treatment and Recovery Services, located in Lebanon, Oregon. The program provides a comprehensive continuum of substance use services to adults and their families, utilizing a multi-disciplinary, evidence-based, and trauma-informed approach in both residential and outpatient settings.
The successful candidate will primarily work within a residential care unit, overseeing and implementing direct nursing care for clients. This role involves close collaboration with the VP of Nursing, Medical Director, and Program Director, ensuring the highest standard of patient care and facilitating client healthcare needs.
As a key member of the treatment team, the Addiction RN also serves as a valuable resource to other team members, contributing to a supportive and integrated care environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and facilitate the comprehensive healthcare needs of clients within the residential care unit.
- Implement and manage nursing care plans for clients, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices and trauma-informed principles.
- Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to other members of the multi-disciplinary treatment team.
- Collaborate effectively with the VP of Nursing, Medical Director, and Program Director to optimize client outcomes and program effectiveness.
