This is a contract opportunity for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join a healthcare team in Geneva, New York. The role involves providing comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care within an acute care setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care during night shifts, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and safety.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement nursing interventions.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for effectiveness and adverse reactions.
Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress accurately and timely.
Collaborate effectively with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
Respond to medical emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions.
Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Minimum of 1-2 years of recent acute care experience as a Registered Nurse.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Experience in a similar facility or unit type.
Skills & Competencies
Proficiency in patient assessment, critical care monitoring, and medication administration.
Competence with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
