Required Qualifications: New York nursing license in hand; minimum of 2 years of experience; travel experience; required charting system experience; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; experience caring for 23 patients; and proficiency in arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care and management, continuous intravenous paralytic and neuromuscular blockade infusions, continuous intravenous sedation, emergency medications, infection prevention, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, isolation precautions and personal protective equipment (PPE), intravenous insulin protocols, Medical Intensive Care Unit and Surgical Intensive Care Unit care, obtaining 12-lead electrocardiograms (EKGs/ECGs), phlebotomy, peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) line management, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, intravenous insertion and maintenance, thermoregulation, and titration of cardiac and vasoactive infusions.
