We are seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive nursing care on a Geropsychiatric Unit. The RN will assess and monitor patients, administer medications and treatments, develop individualized care plans, facilitate therapeutic activities, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality behavioral health care.
Responsibilities- Assess, monitor, and document patients' physical and mental health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
- Facilitate therapeutic groups, patient education, and one-on-one interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians, social workers, and the multidisciplinary care team.
- Complete admission assessments, progress notes, discharge planning, and required documentation.
- Maintain a safe therapeutic environment and ensure quality patient care.
