Job Summary: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) RN Anchorage, Alaska. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within a high-acuity cardiac catheterization laboratory. The role requires an Alaska Registered Nurse license and offers an opportunity to work in a Magnet designated facility with Level II Trauma designation, supporting adult and geriatric patient populations.
Job Details:
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Education/Experience: Valid Alaska RN license in hand; at least 2 years of experience in cardiac catheterization or related specialty required.
Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Additional Responsibilities: On-call duty one day per week and approximately one Saturday per month, with schedule flexibility for floats to electrophysiology or interventional radiology units as needed.
Clinical Skills Required: End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Blood Product Administration, Cardiac Stent Placement, Central Venous Access, Pacemaker Insertion, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, Pulmonary Angiography, Sheath Removal/Monitoring, Thoracentesis, and other interventional procedures.
Submission Requirements: Must include response to questions regarding prior work at a Providence facility and provide two references covering one year within the last three years.
Additional Notes: Must have Alaska RN license in hand for auto offer. RTO (Return to Office) restrictions apply. The candidate must commit to working three of the five major holidays.
