TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Cath Lab RN in Columbia, South Carolina, 29204!

Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 2 years of experience required in Cath Lab License: South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: Experience in electrophysiology and catheterization procedures is required Description: Position for a Cath Lab Registered Nurse. Shift will be 4x10s from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The patient ratio is 1:1. Weekend and on-call requirements are included. Call requirements may change based on staffing needs. Floating between service lines is not required. A radiation badge must be provided by the agency. Experience in electrophysiology and catheterization procedures is critical. The unit handles peripheral and coronary diagnostic and interventional procedures. Daily census is expected to be around 20 cases. Special equipment used includes Impella, balloon pump, Angiojet, and Shock Wave. All time off requests must be included at the time of submission. Compliance with pre-start requirements is essential for timely onboarding. Travelers should be aware of emergency response team assignments during hurricane season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September. No submissions will be considered if there are existing obligations interfering with compliance timelines. Local candidates will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Prior staff must be removed from the system for at least one year before returning as a traveler. Candidates must provide proof of having applied for the South Carolina license if it is pending. Travelers cannot commence work until the South Carolina license is issued and active. All state and federal regulations must be followed regarding licensure and certifications. This position requires collaboration with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
