Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Catheterization Lab - $3,191 per week in Anchorage, AK

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Must have RN license in hand for auto offer Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Pending license accepted, but must have license in hand for auto offer Description: Cath Lab RN position available. Must have Alaska RN license for an automatic offer. Shift is 4x10 days. Experience required is a minimum of 2 years. First-time travelers will be accepted. On-call requirement is one day per week and over the 4th/5th weekend. Must float to Electrophysiology (EP) or Interventional Radiology (IR) as needed. A schedule accommodating block scheduling is not available. Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility. Time off requests will be approved on an individual basis. The traveler may be called off for one, 10-hour shift every two weeks. Facility characteristics include being an acute hospital with a Magnet designation and Level II trauma status. Total staffed beds are 407. Charting is done using Epic. Certifications such as ACLS and BLS are required. Candidates must possess skills related to various procedure and monitoring techniques. Must be willing to work during holidays, including two out of three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Certified references may be required prior to the start. Housing options in the area may be limited. Travelers can work for a maximum of one calendar year in their assignment with a required break before returning.
