Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Catheterization Lab - $3,300 per week in Anchorage, AK

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Must have RN license in hand for auto offer Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: AK RN license in hand for auto offer Description: Cath Lab RN position available. Candidates with a pending license will be considered but must have the license in hand for an auto offer. Shift is 4x10 days. First-time travelers are accepted. On-call requirement is for one day per week and every fourth or fifth weekend, starting Friday at 18:00 and ending Monday at 07:30. Weekend on-call is required, with approximately one Saturday per month as part of the scheduled shifts. Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs. Ability to accommodate block scheduling is not open. Local candidates will not be accepted; candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility. Time off requests will be approved on an individual basis. Only one time-off request is allowed per 13-week assignment. Guaranteed hours are 70 hours per two weeks, with the possibility of being called off for one 10-hour shift during that period. Facility is an acute hospital accredited as a Magnet Facility and a Level II Trauma center. Total staffed beds in the facility are 407. Charting is done in Epic. The job requires various skills related to Cath Lab procedures. These skills include End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Angioplasty, Blood Product Administration, Cardiac Stent Placement, Central Venous Access, and many others. The facility has interdisciplinary support staff available, including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Radiology, and Pharmacy among others. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities as required. Refusal to float may result in the termination of the assignment. Travelers must commit to working three of five major holidays each year. All requests for time off or specific scheduling must be submitted upfront during the application process.
