Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory setting within an acute hospital environment
Perform on-call duties one day per week and every fourth/fifth weekend (Friday 18:00 – Monday 07:30)
Work approximately one Saturday per month as part of the regular four-shift weekly schedule
Float within scope to EP or IR departments as needed to meet facility staffing needs
Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
Adhere to facility compliance requirements including holiday coverage, with willingness to work two of three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year)
Required Qualifications
Active Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license required; pending Alaska license accepted for submission, but license must be in hand prior to offer
Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Willingness and ability to participate in on-call rotation including weekends
Candidate's permanent address must be located at least 50 miles from the facility (no locals accepted)
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in Electrophysiology (EP) or Interventional Radiology (IR)
Familiarity with Epic electronic health records charting system
Experience working in a Magnet-designated or Level II Trauma acute care hospital
