Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit - $2,660 per week in Baltimore, MD

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgical ICU Duration: 17 weeks Shift: Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Trained and worked in a dedicated Open-Heart Unit receiving patients directly from the operating room. License: RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Current experience with recovery of post-operative cardiac surgery patients in an ICU setting. Experience with ventilators, CRRT, Swan-Ganz catheters, epicardial wires/pacemakers, vasoactive drips titration, level 1 IABP, and ECMO. Description: The cardiovascular surgical ICU is an 18-bed unit. It provides care for patients recovering from cardiac surgery, cardiac transplantation, lung transplantation, the placement of ventricular assist devices, and other complex procedures. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:1 or 1:2. Preferred qualifications include ACLS certification, critical care certification, and completion of a trauma course. Experience with electronic medical records systems is also preferred.
