Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Onsite | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
- Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to cardiac events
- Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Participate in required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate testing
- Rotate holiday coverage as required, working at least every other holiday
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in CVICU (travel experience accepted)
- Active and unencumbered Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license in hand at time of submission
- Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
- Active ACLS certification required
- Active NIHSS certification required
- Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (maximum of 2 attempts)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 18 months of CVICU experience within a single facility location
- Prior travel nursing experience in a CVICU or comparable high-acuity cardiovascular setting
