Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-acuity nursing care in a CVICU setting managing patients with heart and lung transplants, LVAD, coronary artery bypass, and valve surgeries
Titrate vasoactive and cardiac drips in accordance with patient care protocols
Operate and monitor advanced cardiac devices including LVAD, CRRT/SLED, Impella, and IABP
Maintain 1:2 patient ratios, with occasional 1:1 assignments based on patient acuity
Float to other units as needed based on competency and unit census
Collaborate with an intensivist-model care team including respiratory therapy assigned to the unit 24/7
Required Qualifications
Active RN license with current ICU experience
Minimum 3 years of ICU nursing experience in a high-acuity hospital setting
Proficiency with EPIC EMR required
Must be open to floating based on unit needs and competency
Must be flexible with scheduling — no self-scheduling; 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule required
Preferred Experience / Skills
CRRT/SLED experience preferred (training available for qualified candidates)
