**Exciting Opportunity for a CVOR Travel RN!** **Job Description** - **Unit Information:** - CardioVascular Operating Room - Location: 2nd Floor - Address: 1313 Hermann Dr. Houston, TX 77004 - Building: South Tower - **Unit Highlights:** - Number of CVORs: 5 (including 1 Hybrid, 1 Hybrid shared with Cath Lab) - Staff Composition: - RNs: 7 (1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator, 1 PRN, 1 Part-Time) - CSTs: 6 - **Daily Responsibilities:** - Engage as a vital member of a dynamic team providing top-tier cardiac and vascular surgical care. - Collaborate in a fast-paced environment where every heartbeat counts. - Scrub and circulate as necessary in the Cardiac OR setting. - **Ideal Candidate Profile:** - Must have: - Extensive CVOR experience in both cardiac and vascular surgery - At least 2 years of exclusive CVOR experience - Preferred: - 5+ years of advanced experience - Skills in scrub and circulation - **Typical Procedures:** - Vascular: Open and Endovascular - Complex Cardiac: - Type A dissection - Thoracoabdominal approach cases - Sternotomy - CABG/AVR/MVR - VSD repair - Impella/ECMO insertion - Aorta repair (Ascending/Descending) - Thoracic Robotic cases - TAVRs - **Personality Fit:** - Works well under pressure and in emergency situations - A dedicated team player who complements our department - **Certifications Required:** - BLS - ACLS - **Work Expectations:** - Floating areas may include Main OR, Cath Lab, IR - Required to be on call and available for weekend shifts - **Dress Code:** - Black scrubs provided by the CVOR team --- **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
