Job Title: Travel Nurse - Cardiovascular Surgery

Description:
This is a travel position for an RN in the cardiovascular surgery specialty.
The unit has 2 heart rooms, with a potential for a 3rd.
The staff consists of 4 RNs and 3 CSTs.
Day shift includes 1 CVOR RN and 1 CVOR CST.
There is no night shift, but on-call duties are required.
The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:1.
The electronic medical record system used is Meditech.
Typical procedures performed include CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR.
The ideal candidate would be confident, a team player, and possess a positive attitude.
Prioritization of patient experience and effective communication with staff and providers is essential.
On-call requirement includes 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month.
The ECMO program is restarting, which may present unique opportunities.
