Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Operating Room - $2,727 per week in Winston Salem, NC

Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room RN – North Carolina

Start Date: October 2026
Location: North Carolina

Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Call coverage required 10 days per month, including one weekend per month.

Highlights:

• Work in a 3-room cardiovascular OR specializing in adult and geriatric cardiac and thoracic procedures
• Diverse case mix including CABG, valve repairs/replacements, TAVR, robotic thoracic surgery, aortic aneurysm repair, and advanced cardiovascular procedures
• Epic charting system with Pyxis medication management and SBAR communication protocols
• 13-week contract with 36 hours of paid orientation and scrubs provided
• Interdisciplinary team support including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and transportation

Requirements:

• Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state)
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) experience required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Circulating experience required; scrub experience preferred
• CNOR certification preferred
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must be available for interview within 72 hours of application submission
