Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Operating Room in Bellingham, WA

Contract | Days, 4x10 Hours (7:00–17:00) | On-Call Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled scrub and/or circulating nursing care for cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) cases
• Float to the main OR when cardiac cases are not scheduled
• Participate in cardiac on-call coverage, including one weekday evening/night per week and one 72-hour weekend call shift per month (Friday evening through Monday morning at 0600)
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and effective patient care throughout perioperative phases
• Maintain compliance with all facility policies, documentation standards, and electronic medical record requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent cardiac scrub experience
• Strong orthopedic and/or neurosurgical OR experience required
• Active or pending Washington State RN license (proof of application required at time of submission)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility (local candidates are not accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Epic experience within the past year
• Prior travel nursing experience, though first-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Ability and willingness to float within the health system as operationally needed
