Travel Nurse RN - Case Manager - $2,775 per week in Anchorage, AK

Candidates must have an active RN license. The start date is as soon as possible. Shifts will be 4x10 or 5x8 days. Shift times may vary within specified hours. The role includes duties related to care coordination and discharge planning. Candidates should have knowledge of medical necessity guidelines. Experience with Epic charting is required. Candidates will be expected to float within case manager services as needed. Weekend work is required every other weekend or four weekend days in a four-week schedule. A total of 72 hours will be guaranteed per two weeks. Candidates may be called off for one 8-hour shift every two weeks. This is an acute care position within a Magnet facility. Flexibility in scheduling is needed, with only one time-off request allowed every 13 weeks. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in trauma level II settings. Patient demographics include a range from neonates to geriatrics. The expected daily census is approximately 324 patients. The work environment promotes interdisciplinary support and collaboration. Candidates are expected to comply with patient care standards and guidelines. This role involves handling discharge planning and appeals processes. Documentation and adherence to HIPAA guidelines are essential. BLS certification is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates must be prepared to work all designated holidays as required.
