Job Title: Pediatric Case Manager RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Case Management Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2 years License: State RN License required Certifications: ACM Cert preferred Must-Have: - Pediatric experience - Epic experience - Acute care experience Description: Pediatric Case Manager RN position available. Must have a valid state RN license for auto-offer. Pediatric experience is required. Shift will be 5x8 days. Shift times will vary between 0700-1700. On-call is not required for this position. Weekends are required, every other weekend or four weekend days within a four-week schedule. Floating within the scope of case management to meet facility needs is expected. Staff will coordinate care and manage discharge planning. Experience in acute care hospitals is necessary. BLS certification is preferred. Provider will be responsible for assessing admissions, conducting continued stay reviews, and determining medical necessity per guidelines. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ICD 10 coding is essential. The daily census includes diverse patient age groups ranging from neonates to geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support will be available from various services including therapy, pharmacy, and social work. Candidates must be willing to work during major holidays as required. Housing options should be explored in advance due to limited availability. Completion of required training modules is necessary before the start of employment.
