Start Date: ASAP Location: Anchorage, Alaska Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 5x8 day shifts (various start times between 0700-1700), every other weekend required, 72 guaranteed hours per two-week period
Highlights:
Work at a prestigious Magnet-designated acute care hospital with 407 staffed beds and Level II Trauma designation
Provide case management and discharge planning services across multiple patient populations including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and care coordination
13-week assignment with flexibility to float within case management services to support departmental needs
Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, social services, rapid response teams, and more
Free parking and scrubs provided by facility
Requirements:
Active Alaska RN license required prior to offer
BLS certification preferred
ACM (Accredited Case Manager) certification preferred
Minimum 1-2 years of acute care hospital experience required
Epic EMR experience required
Experience with utilization review criteria (InterQual, Milliman Guidelines)
Knowledge of discharge planning, care coordination, and medical necessity determination
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
