Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse

Must-Have:
- Previous charge experience
- Charting system experience (Epic preferred)
- Case management experience (minimum of 1 year)
Description:
This position involves care coordination and utilization review.
You will be handling discharge planning for a diverse patient population.
The average caseload is 15 to 18 patients on weekdays.
Saturday and Sunday caseloads increase to about 30 patients.
Daily duties include conducting concurrent reviews and continued stay reviews.
You will be responsible for determining medical necessity based on evidence-based guidelines.
The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, social services, and pharmacy.
Participants will engage with patients across various demographics, including neonates, infants, adults, and geriatrics.
Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding, as well as prior authorization processes, is necessary.
Candidates must possess skills in quality improvement and care planning.
This is a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
You may be required to float to affiliated locations based on census and unit needs.
Weekend coverage is an expectation of this position.
Two managerial references will be required.
