Healthworks Inc is seeking a travel nurse RN Clinic for a travel nursing job in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
Cardiology Clinic RN
• Shift: Five 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
• Shift Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with one rotating half-day off each week
• Weekends: None
• On Call: None
• Holiday Requirements: None
• Floating: None
• Facility: Hospital-based medical office building with multiple specialty clinics
• Department Details: 11-room cardiology clinic seeing approximately 24–60 patients per day
• Required Experience: Minimum 3 years of cardiology clinic, ICU/CVICU, Cath Lab, or cardiac stepdown experience
• Traveler Experience: First-time travelers accepted if comfortable transitioning from acute care to a clinic setting
• Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Patient Population: Adult cardiology patients
• Common Diagnoses: CHF, chest pain, pulmonary hypertension, peripheral artery disease, electrophysiology conditions, and patients following cardiac catheterization, CABG, valve replacement, and other cardiac procedures
• Clinic Pace: Fast-paced environment with appointments scheduled approximately every 15 minutes
• Required Skills: Procedure authorization, order entry, patient education, in-basket management, abnormal lab follow-up, and telephone triage
• Additional Responsibilities: May assist with rooming patients, obtaining EKGs, placing Holter/event monitors, supporting stress testing, and rarely administering IV dobutamine
• Documentation System: EPIC experience preferred
• Equipment: Alaris IV pumps, Zio and Bardy cardiac monitors, Holter/event monitors, and EKG machines
