Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Float Nurse position available in Albany, New York. This role involves providing specialized care in various ICU environments, including neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, and other critical care units. The position requires adaptability to float across different units and a proven track record in ICU patient management.

Job Details:

• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license with experience in ICU or critical care units; RN degree; at least 1 year of clinical experience; ability to float to various ICU units; Epic electronic health record experience; reliable email address for competency test coordination.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel nursing experience; experience working in level I trauma centers; competency in neuro/trauma, SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, PCCU, and ED/PACU bedside care; current certifications as applicable.
• Additional Information: Competency test required within 24 hours of submission. The candidate must be comfortable caring for critical patients in multiple ICU environments and be adaptable to unit changes. Scrub colors and dress code to be followed as per facility guidelines.
