Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CICU) night shift position in Tuscaloosa, AL, requiring at least 1 year of recent CICU experience and an active AL or Compact RN license with no license violations.

Details

• Work in the Cardiovascular ICU (CICU) of an acute care hospital in Tuscaloosa, AL
• Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:00 (7p–7a)
• 13-week travel contract

Requirements

• Active AL or Compact RN license currently in hand — no pending or temporary licenses accepted
• No violations or hits on license history (past or current)
• Minimum 2 years of total RN experience, with at least 1 year of recent CICU experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references from within the last year required for consideration
• Full SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• EMR system is Meditech — experience preferred but not required
• All ICU RNs must complete an on-site competency test in addition to an online pre-test
• Virtual orientation will include competency-based modules — no HealthStream modules required prior to start
• Timekeeping is managed through Centricity
