Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) nurse position located at an organization requiring at least 2 years of recent cardiac scrub experience. The role involves supporting open heart surgeries and other complex procedures within the operating room setting. The assignment is scheduled to start on 10/27/2026 and will last for approximately 3 months. The position involves working days shifts with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week, from 10/27/2026 to 01/26/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS and ACLS. Must have at least 2 years of recent cardiac scrub experience, strong orthopedics (ortho) and neuro operating room experience, and epic charting system experience within the last year. Must be willing to float as needed within the health system.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in general, vascular, gynecology, Robotics XI, charge or lead roles preferred. Additional experience in neuro, vascular, gyn, and robotics is desirable.
• Special Procedures/Unit Details: Experience required in abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, ablation, cardiac monitoring, carotid endarterectomy, coronary artery procedures, robotic surgeries, and charge/lead responsibilities are preferred. Night shift team lead RN and scrub tech, with on-call team access as needed.
• Additional Information: Per the position requirements, completion of all stipulated certifications and adherence to unit-specific floating policies is essential. The assignment will include supporting elective and non-elective cases involving complex cardiac and other surgeries, with an emphasis on general, neuro, vascular, gyn, ortho, and robotics procedures.
