Travel Nurse RN - Dialysis - $2,424 per week in Rochester, NY

Job Title: Dialysis Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Dialysis Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: New York license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Charge Nurse experience required Outpatient Chronic and Acute experience required Description: Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week. Schedule is Monday to Friday from 5:30 AM to 10:30 PM with 8-hour or 12-hour shifts based on department needs. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend from 5:30 AM to 10:30 PM. Occasional Sundays may be needed due to holidays. On-call availability may be required Monday through Friday from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Weekend call may be from 6:00 PM Saturday to 6:00 AM Monday. Candidates must be willing to float to other dialysis locations. This position requires the ability to perform various skills including: Administration of blood and blood products. Cannulation of AV grafts and AV fistulas. Dialysate conductivity testing. Management of alarms and essential monitoring. Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Infection control and emergency response including CPR. Candidates should be familiar with managing conditions such as fluid overload, hyperkalemia, and hypotension. Preference is given to candidates with experience using the Epic charting system.
