Job Summary:
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Farmington, New Mexico. This role involves providing specialized emergency care within a Level III trauma center that serves the Four Corners region. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic emergency department environment, supporting a diverse patient population with a focus on trauma, stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and moderate sedation cases.

Job Details:

• Location: Farmington, New Mexico
• Shift: Mids (includes a combination of all 3 shifts: 10am-10pm, 12pm-12am, 3pm-3am)
• Schedule: 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: RN (Registered Nurse) with ADN degree; certifications including ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NCC; candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience, with a preference for prior experience in trauma, stroke, STEMI, and sepsis; valid RN license must be presented on the first day.
• Preferred Qualifications: Emergency Department experience of 2 years preferred.
• Additional Information: The unit employs team nursing and a pod system, with a social worker assigned to the department and an educator for the unit. Equipment utilized includes Zoll Defibrillator, Level One Blood Transfuser, QinFlow Blood Warmer, Hospira Plum360, Freestyle and Istat POC, and Ultrasound Guided IV. The electronic health record system is Cerner.
