Job Summary: Emergency Room Nurse Santa Fe, New Mexico. This position involves providing comprehensive care to patients in the emergency department setting. The nurse will coordinate and implement patient care specific to the adult and pediatric population served, ensuring quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Current New Mexico Registered Nurse (RN) license or current Compact state license; BLS Certification from American Heart Association (AHA); ACLS Certification from AHA; PALS Certification from AHA; TNCC Certification; CPI or equivalent preferred; 0 years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations; experience in emergency care settings preferred.
Responsibilities: Obtain and record initial assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, provide patient and family education, perform point-of-care testing, delegate tasks appropriately, and participate in unit growth and development activities.
Additional Information: Maintain effective communication strategies, promote a positive work environment, support organizational goals, ensure patient safety and satisfaction, and adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
