Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse - Night Shift - Location not specified. This position involves delivering critical nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department environment. The role requires managing a diverse patient population with complex needs, including trauma and pediatric cases, to ensure safety and quality of care.

Job Details

• Position Description: Must live at least 50 miles away. All candidates must be available to start within 7 days of offer with no pushed starts allowed.
• Schedule: 3 nights per week, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district; ER experience with at least 3 years of relevant practice; graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program; BSN highly desired; Cerner experience required; current certifications including ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Additional Requirements: Candidates must provide compliance documents such as a national background screen, license verification, vaccination or declination forms, and certifications, all to be submitted within 7 days of assignment start. Only candidates willing and able to work in the trauma room and manage bedside trauma responsibilities are suitable.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with arterial lines, medication titrations, blood transfusions, and chest tube management; ability to handle complex nursing care scenarios involving urgent care, psych, pediatric, and critical trauma patients.
• Responsibilities: Delivering high-level emergency nursing care, managing complex clinical procedures, and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction throughout shifts.
