Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Plattsburgh, New York. This assignment involves providing high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department. The position offers a dynamic environment with a focus on patient safety and efficient clinical operations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Evenings shift from 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
  • Education: Valid NY State license or proof of application with applied date (note: NY licensing takes 6-8 weeks)
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of emergency nursing experience
  • Epic electronic medical record system experience within the past 2 years
• Additional Information:
  • Assignment duration: 13-16 weeks
  • Shift is from 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM with a schedule that includes every other weekend and no block schedules
  • All work history details (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) must be fully completed
  • Bi-weekly orientations are scheduled on Mondays; the next available is
  • Employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
  • This facility requires all candidates to have reliable transportation, with vehicles equipped for all-season conditions from November to April
