Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license required at time of submission
• At least 2 years of recent emergency room nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Experience caring for pediatric patients required
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
• EMR experience preferred, especially Meditech Expanse

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to patients in a busy emergency room setting
• Perform triage, rapid assessments, and ongoing patient monitoring
• Support care for a mixed-acuity population, including pediatric patients
• Administer treatments, medications, and nursing interventions according to ER protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to respond to changing patient needs
• Document patient care accurately and communicate timely updates to the care team
• Help maintain efficient patient flow while delivering patient-centered emergency nursing care
