Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)

Pay: $1,566.48 weekly

Shifts: Day/Night/Weekend/Holiday rotation - PART TIME (2x12-hour shifts) + 2 on-call shifts in 4 weeks

Key Responsibilities of the Emergency Department Registered Nurse
  • Assess patients' urgent or emergent care needs and prioritize accordingly.
  • Provide direct care and apply appropriate interventions for both life-threatening and routine emergencies.
  • Utilize relationship-based care principles to alleviate anxiety and address patient and family concerns.
  • Conduct primary assessments and identify necessary interventions for critical needs.
  • Encourage mutual trust and cooperation among team members for optimal patient outcomes.
  • Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and treatments, and educate families on post-care needs.
  • Maintain awareness and communicate patient status throughout their emergency department visit.

Requirements of the Emergency Department Registered Nurse
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Stroke Certification (AHA or RQI required)
  • Two years of acute hospital experience as an RN
  • At least one year of experience in an Emergency Department setting as an RN
