Description:
The Emergency Department has a total of 40 beds.
Approximately 65 staff members, including RNs, paramedics, and EMTs.
During the day shift, staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 6 RNs, and an EMT, with additional mid-shift staff arriving at different times.
The night shift comprises 1 charge nurse, 6 RNs, 1 EMT, and 1 medic, with mid-shift staff leaving at various times throughout the night.
Patient ratios are 4:1.
Typical equipment used in the unit includes IV pumps, EKG machines, ultrasound machines, and a GE EMR system.
Candidates should possess experience in trauma level 1 or level 2 settings.
Prior Meditech experience is preferred.
Key procedures performed include rapid assessment, stabilization, and intervention.
Candidates should be experienced ER nurses who are team players, motivated, and ambitious.
Patient care experience is of utmost priority.
