Pay: $1611.36 per week

Shifts: D/N/W/Holiday rotation - PART TIME (2x12s) + 2 on call shifts in 4 weeks

This role involves delivering high quality, compassionate care to patients and families within the emergency department environment. Key Responsibilities of the Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Assess patient needs, identify care priorities, and provide direct care with appropriate interventions
Manage life-threatening and routine emergency situations using invasive and non-invasive procedures
Conduct primary and secondary assessments using direct observation, interviews, and EMS reports
Encourage teamwork and cooperation among team members for optimal patient outcomes
Prepare patients and families for diagnostic procedures and educate them on continuing care at home
Maintain ongoing communication with patients and families throughout their ED stay

Requirements of the Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Stroke Certification (Must be AHA or RQI)
Two years of acute hospital experience as an RN
One year of ED hospital experience as an RN
NYS RN Licensure
