Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $1,724 per week in Houston, TX

Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Houston, Texas

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Houston, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts; Every other weekend required; Day and night shift positions available; 4:1 patient ratio

Highlights:

• 50-bed Emergency Department in a Level II Trauma Center functioning as a Comprehensive Stroke Center and designated Chest Pain Center
• Collaborative team environment with dedicated Clinical Nurse Coordinators, LVNs, Paramedics, Patient Care Technicians, and Behavioral Health Technicians on each shift
• Experience with trauma and full-spectrum emergency procedures including rapid infusion therapy with Belmont equipment and GE monitoring systems
• Facility recognized on Pathway to Excellence and Journey to Magnet status
• EMR system: Meditech
• Two positions available for qualified candidates

Requirements:

• Current Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification – required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification – required
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification – required
• Trauma emergency department experience – strongly preferred
• Meditech EMR experience – preferred
