Job Title: RN - ER

Experience: Preferred acute care facility experience
License: Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice
Certifications: Required certifications include CPR or BLS, AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS, AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS
Must-Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred
Description:
Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment.
Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
Analyzes the assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues.
Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain desired outcomes.
Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
Evaluates progress toward achieving outcomes.
Collaborates with the patient, family, and healthcare providers to deliver patient care in a safe and caring environment.
Provides learning opportunities for patients, family members, and team members.
Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Commits to the safety and well-being of associates and patients, requiring all associates to receive required vaccinations as a condition of employment.

This department provides triage, treatment, and support for trauma and emergency patients of all ages in an acute care setting.
