Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,291 per week in Manchester, NH

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a fast-paced emergency room. Traveler experience preferred: first-time travelers are not accepted. License: Valid state nursing license required. Certifications: ACLS, CPI, PALS, TNCC required. Must-Have: Experience with pediatric patients preferred. Experience in managing dysrhythmias and triage. Epic experience required. Description: Candidate must have experience in a high-volume emergency department. The average daily census is 70, with approximately 160 visits per day. The unit has 36 rooms and 50 beds. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. The nurse will assist in providing care across a diverse patient population. Patient diagnoses may range from simple to complex. Common conditions include minor cuts and scrapes, fractures, abdominal pain, chest pain, and respiratory concerns. Emergency situations include oncological and neurological emergencies, trauma, psychiatric emergencies, and substance use disorders. The nurse may perform special procedures such as conscious sedation, trauma alerts, and stroke alerts. Special equipment used includes point-of-care ultrasound, EPOC, and other emergency medical devices. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, respiratory services, and social services.
