Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, full-time position with every other weekend requirement

Requirements:

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• BLS Certification from American Heart Association required
• ACLS Certification from American Heart Association required
• PALS Certification from American Heart Association required
• TNCC or ATCN certification required
• CPI/De-Escalation certification preferred
• Current knowledge and skills appropriate to emergency care settings

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and establish care priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
• Develop and implement individualized, measurable plans of care within established nursing standards
• Systematically reassess patients to identify progress and trends requiring intervention
• Make evidence-based nursing decisions and modify care plans based on patient outcomes
• Document interventions and care delivery in a timely, thorough manner
• Participate in patient and family education as well as discharge planning
• Perform Point of Care testing procedures as needed
• Communicate clearly and appropriately with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
