The facility is comprised of a 221-bed hospital, various physician clinics, home care services, comprehensive cancer care, and award-winning services. The role of the Registered Nurse involves assuming responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients. Nurses will prescribe nursing care based on the nursing process and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members. The position involves coordinating patient care across all age groups and incorporating teaching and discharge planning needs into the care plan. Registered Nurses will delegate specific aspects of patient care to other nursing staff, depending on their clinical competence and legal scope of practice.
