Registered Nurse – Emergency Room
Location
Atlanta, GA
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3 x 12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Room setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients
- Perform neurological assessments utilizing NIHSS protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage acute and trauma cases
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation throughout the shift
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Some trauma experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Experience in a high-acuity or Level I/II trauma emergency environment
