Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in the anticipation and planning for safe patient care delivery
Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Oregon or compact equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
Prior travel nursing experience required
Locals will not be considered for this position
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience working in a high-volume or trauma-level Emergency Department
Strong leadership and clinical decision-making skills in fast-paced environments
Familiarity with union staffing environments
