Job Details

• Position Description: The registered nurse will coordinate and implement patient care specific to the age of the patient population served on assigned units. Ensures delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality care, demonstrating adherence to organizational standards.
• Required Qualifications: Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license, TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) Certification, CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) Certification, NIH (National Institute of Health) Certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification from AHA, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification from AHA, PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Certification from AHA, 3 years of nursing experience.
• Schedule: Day shift from 7AM to 7PM, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities: Obtain and record initial assessments, develop individualized care plans, conduct re-assessments, and perform point-of-care testing procedures. Delegate tasks appropriately, coordinate team assignments, and participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Staff Responsibilities: Use effective communication, delegate tasks, coordinate team activities, and assist in staff orientation. Promote a positive work environment and contribute to organizational growth.
• Customer Relations: Exhibit behaviors that promote patient satisfaction, maintain confidentiality, and support hospital missions.
• Other Responsibilities: Support special projects, interpret HR policies, adapt to environmental changes, and ensure safety compliance.
• WorkSchedule: 7AM to 7PM.
• Minimum Experience: 0 years required.
