Unit Name: Float Pool*** now requires that all nurse candidates provide current CEU documentation during the compliance process32 bed fast paced unit.Nurse Patient Ratio: 1:6; may go up to 1:8. Nurses must be willing to take 8 when needed.Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatric, Remote TeleNurse will float to all MS units, cardio, medicine, otrtho, surgical, Neuro and Oncology.Common Equipment: IV pumps, Tele, SCD's, PCA pump, Lifts, gait belts, CO2 monitoring, Line Management/Skills:Required: IV Insertion, PICC/Central Line Management, Vascular Device Access/CareOrtho/MS/Onc Skills: Required: Traction, CPM, Epidural/PCA pumps, Feeding Tubes, Wound VacCardiac: Required: Remote Tele, Tele InterpretationAirway Skills:Required: CPAP/BiPAP, Trach Care
